Having a closet full of plaid shirts wasn’t too appealing to Puck at the moment, but he knew he’d have to work with it. He was finally going out with Quinn again, without Finn. Since the last time they’d hung out, he’d been worried that she wasn’t into it, or that his song had freaked her out. But lately they’d been talking more, and had finally agreed to actually hang out again. Slipping into his favorite plaid shirt, he checked his reflection in the mirror. He looked like a stud, he knew it. He buttoned the shirt up while still looking in the mirror, wondering if Quinn would like plaid as much as he did. After checking himself out and making sure his keys were securely in his front pocket, he made his exit, closing the door loudly behind him, hoping that he hadn’t woken Finn. Even though it was afternoon, he was napping so Puck had left a sticky note on his forehead, letting him know their scheduled bro time for the night was cancelled.
As he made his way across campus, he acknowledged kids he knew from his classes, smiling as he passed them. As he reached Quinn’s building, a gaggle of girls outside of it giggled and whispered to each other as he passed. He’d sort of made a name for himself at the school for being a ladies man, and obviously these girls know of him. They smiled at him flirtatiously and batted their eyelashes but he walked past them. It was weird, but he actually liked sort of liked Quinn. It was unfamiliar territory to him, since he hadn’t let himself like someone in a long time. It was normally just hookups and done. But with her, he wanted things to be different. He rubbed his hands together, cupping them together and blowing into them before knocking loudly on her door.
Quinn couldn’t be help but smile when Puck asked her to hung out again, without Finn. She was happy to see him but she was also scared - she’d always messed her relationships up but that time.. She couldn’t go wrong. For some strange and unknown reasons Puck was different and she knew that maybe things could work out for them. Maybe. She put her favorite, yellow dress on and looked at herself in the mirror. She’d could be better but she wasn’t so bad. “Stay calm. Stay calm. Stay calm.” She repeated to herself but obviously couldn’t follow her suggestion. She was too nervous. The blonde girl put some make up on and then she sat on a chair, waiting for him.
She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, maybe going out without Finn wasn’t a great idea. “No, it’s great.” She said to herself, opening her eyes and nodding her head. Yes, she was ready. Her heart stopped beating as she heard the knock at the door, she stood up and opened the door. “Hi.” She said with a big smile on her face, looking at him.
